Darüber hinaus handelt und vertreibt VERBUND Gas an Marktteilnehmer von Energiebörsen, an Händler sowie Haushaltskund:innen und erbringt energienahe Dienstleistungen. Weiters betreibt VERBUND durch die Austrian Power Grid AG (APG) das österreichische Stromübertragungsnetz bzw. durch die Gas Connect Austria GmbH (GCA) ein Gasfernleitungs- sowie -verteilnetz. VERBUND hält außerdem Beteiligungen an in- und ausländischen Energieversorgungsunternehmen.
