Su objeto social es el asesoramiento, financiación y conexión con la industria del automóvil de todas sus filiales.Las filiales del Grupo tienen centrada su actividad en el desarrollo y fabricación de componentes metálicos para la industria del automóvil, mediante estampación, montaje, soldadura y unión de formatos, así como la construcción de utillajes (matrices para la fabricación de las piezas) y maquinaria, además de determinadas sociedades de servicios y de investigación y desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías. Adicionalmente, las sociedades que forman parte del Subgrupo Sideacero tienen centrada su actividad en la gestión de residuos metálicos (férricos y no férricos).
